Elaine Leader draws upon a number of sources in the construction of her prints including field guides, mapping and botanical illustration to investigate how the self orientates and navigates a world in constant flux. Her work sensitively but unsentimentally addresses themes of care, nurture and dependency. Elaine Leader was born in Dublin in 1970. She graduated from the College of Marketing and Design in 1995. Exhibitions include Iontas; RHA Annual Exhibitions; 'Hand Pulled Prints', San Antonio, Texas; 'Print Ireland France 2001', Cite Internationale des Arts, Paris; Grafiska Sallskaet, Stockholm 2002; 'Contemporary Irish Prints', The Gallery of Graphic Art, New York 2004. Most recent Awards are Arts Council Travel Awards 1996 and 2000; RHA Annual Print Award 1998; Arts Council Art Flights 1994, 1997 & 2001; as well as an Office of Public Works Per Cent for Arts Scheme Commission for the National Library. Her work is included in State and Corporate Collections.

Anthony Lyttle's delicate layered aquatints occupy a transitional space where form convenes, deteriorates and regroups. Lyttle's work explores the fragility central to organic growth and change. Anthony Lyttle was born in Kisumu, Kenya in 1960. He spent his childhood in Kenya and Ethiopia and came to live in Ireland in 1973. He studied Fine Art Painting in the National College of Art and Design from 1980 until 1984. He has been a member of the Blackchurch Print Studio since 1987 and Studio 16, the artistŐs co-operative studio in Temple Bar since 1989. Anthony has exhibited widely Nationally and Internationally. Exhibitions include The Holy Show, Chester Beatty Library, Dublin; Estampe/Print, Galerie Michele Broutta, Paris; and Impressions, Art of the State 2003. Anthony received the Eigse Open Award in 2004.

Colin Martin's practice cross-references the stillness of European genre painting with the expectant uncertainty of lens-based narrative. Martin creates a staged familiar reality in scenes of recreation and leisure that hint at the ideals and preoccupations of their absent protagonists. Colin Martin was born in Dublin in 1973. He studied painting at the College of Marketing and Design and graduated in 1994. He has exhibited both Nationally and Internationally including the 22nd International Biennale of Graphic Art, Slovenia. His most recent awards include Arts Council Visual Arts Bursary, 2004, Hennessey Craig Scholarship, 2005 and Ballinglen Arts Foundation Fellowship, 2005. His work is in many private and public collections including AIB, ESB and Iona Technologies.
