A diverse range of printmaking techniques can be seen including etching, linocut, drypoint, carborundum, lithography and mezzotint from artists such as Robert Russell, Nickie Hayden, Ruth O'Donnell, Michael Timmons, Clare Henderson, Kath Van Uytrecht, Tracey Sweeney, Niamh Flanagan and Caroline Donohue among others. This show will include works of various sizes at affordable prices.
Our summer show is linked to Temple Bar Cultural Trust's 'The Summer Sensational' with fine art print demonstrations called 'Bloomin' Prints' in Temple Bar from the 8th to the 11th July 2010. 8th July / 11am - 3pm FREE Artist Michael Timmins is a gifted practitioner of lithography. This July he shares some of the magic of this fine art print technique with you in Temple Bar. 9th July / 11am - 3pm FREE - booking required - 01 679 8021 or gallery@graphicstudiodublin.com Artist Jenny Spain will demonstrate some of the skills that it takes to produce an etching and other print methods known as intaglio. You will get to make your very own print using drypoint techniques.
