'Off the Wall' - The art of printmaking

The Summer Exhibition Off the Wall features fresh work from Graphic Studio Dublin Members and Gallery Artists incorporating a myriad of fine art print techniques such as vibrant miniature screenprints by Terence Gravett. Gerard Cox's new woodblocks have a porthole theme incorporating gold leaf.

Jean Bardon has produced intricate etchings of scallop shells, crocus and hellebores incorporating palladium leaf pressed on to the paper.

Brian Lalor has followed on from his previous etching 'A true prospect of the north and south Liffey quays in Dublin Docklands, drawn from life in the Winter of the year two thousand and five' with a new image of the same view reflecting how the Port has evolved since then.

Margaret Becker's evocative drypoints were created during her recent stay in Tuscany and Carmel Benson continues to reflect her inspiration by her Wicklow surroundings with rich greens in her bold and dense carborundums.

This show is a must see for both the ardent collector and the novice art enthusiast. It provides the opportunity to buy your favourite framed piece 'off the wall' and take it away with you there and then.
