Residencies
International Printmakers Residencies -
Application/Part Subsidised
This would allow full access to the studio from 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
Residency does not include accommodation but we would be very happy to advise you should you need help finding somewhere to stay. The studio supplies acids, solvents, newsprint and some other basic materials, but the artist must supply their own paper, inks, plates, wiping cloth and cleaning rags, etc.
The studio sells some inks and materials, and can advise on where to get others. All fees are payable in advance.
The fee structure is as follows;
For one month and under three months access: €300 per month.
For over three months and under six months access: €250 per month.
For over six months access: €200 per month.
The next deadline for submission will be Monday 18th January 2010 at 5pm. The Summer deadline for submission will be Thursday 17th June 2010.

When fully subsidised residencies are available at Graphic Studio Dublin, they are advertised here.
The 2009 Residency was in conjunction with Edinburgh Printmakers and Dublin City Council at Red Stables Studios. A Scottish based artist, Paul Furneaux, will be Artist-in-Residence at Graphic Studio Dublin/Red Stables during summer 2009. Fingal County Council Fine Art Print Residency
Fingal County Council are offering as new initiative a fine art print residency at Graphic Studio Dublin for artists with printmaking skills. The month long residency will provide an ideal environment for the development of creative projects and an opportunity to network with other artists.
The professional aims and objectives of the successful candidate will be continually assessed during the residency to ensure the artist gains the maximum benefit from the support. The collaborative nature of being part of a collective print studio, will be of enormous assistance to a professional artist.
The residency will include:
Induction training course into the use of equipment and models of good practice in a collective fine art print studio.
Access to any relevant master classes that take place in Distillery House during the residency (twice yearly there are international master classes, and other national master classes take place throughout the year)
Professional studio support with regard to technical process, artistic development etc.
Adjudicators selected by Fingal County Council Arts Office will make the final selection.
Criteria:
The applicant must be an emerging or established artist.
The applicant must be born or currently resident in Fingal administrative area.
