Stone Lithography

Students will be introduced to the techniques for successful lithographic printmaking. Using the stone as a completely smooth surface to draw on, this technique offers a great versatility for mark-making. The course will cover different drawing materials including crayon, liquid tusche, transfers and follow through to etching, proofing, registration, counter-etching and printing.

Aluminium Plate Photolithography

Using pre-sensitised photographic Aluminum plates as a way to create lithographs from hand-drawn or photographic films. This method offers the opportunity to combine drawn and painted marks with photographic and digital images.

These courses are aimed at those who have some printmaking experience or an interest in printmaking.
