Michael Timmins

Michael Timmins was born in Dublin, he graduated from Dublin Institute of Technology in 1999 with an honours degree in Fine Art (Printmaking). He joined the Black Church Print Studio the same year. In 2000 he was offered the position of studio technician. He has worked in all print media but has recently been concentrating in the medium of Lithography. He has exhibited widely both in Ireland and abroad, his work is included in private and public collections. In 2003 he travelled to Saint Johns in Newfoundland, Canada on an exchange with St. Michael's Printshop where he worked for an intensive three week period making Lithographs. In 2007 he completed the Tamarind Institute's printer-training programme in New Mexico, USA. He is currently a member of Graphic Studio Dublin.
