Maria Simonds-Gooding b. 1939

Maria Simonds-Gooding was born in India in 1939 and has lived in Kerry since she was six. She studied at the National College of Art, Dublin, le Centre de Peinture, Brussels and the Bath Academy of Fine Art. In 1981 she was elected a member of Aosdána and she now lives and works in Kerry.
