Lina Nordenström b.1963

Lina Nordenström lives and works in Stockholm. She works with prints, drawings and artists' books. She studied at Gothenburg University 1982-85, The College of Printmaking Arts in Stockholm 1991-95, where she now is teaching, and the Royal University College of Fine Arts in Stockholm from 2000 to 2001.

She has been a frequent visitor and exhibitor in Ireland since 1993. She was awarded a fellowship from the Ballinglen Arts Foundation in Co. Mayo in 2002. Since 2005 she has been an associate member of Graphic Studio Dublin. She has exhibited widely throughout Scandinavia and has taken part in many international group shows. Her work is in major collections including; The Modern Museum, Stockholm, The Swedish Parliament, The National Gallery, Oslo, The National Gallery of Ireland, The British Museum, The National Gallery of Art, Warsaw and The Archive, Ballinglen Arts Foundation, Co. Mayo.
