Jordi Arko

Jordi Arko was born in Stockholm in 1951. He studied Art History,
Archaeology and Ethnology at Stockholm University from 1971-74. During
this period he also attended the University College of Arts, Crafts
and Design in Stockholm and subsequently became a student at the Royal
University College of Fine Arts in Stockholm from 1975-1980. Jordi has
completed several official art commissions around Sweden. He is
Vice Chairman on the board of the Swedish Fine Art Print Society and
member of the board of Art, Design and Programme for Swedish stamps.
Jordi's images can be seen at The Modern Museum, Stockholm, The
British Museum in London, as well as public collections in Denmark,
France and the USA. Jordi has been working as Consultant of Fine Arts
in Dalarna County council since 2003.
