The Cracked Lookingglass opening at the Graphic Studio Gallery on 3rd June consists of work by over thirty of Ireland’s leading artists. Each artist was asked to make an original limited edition print inspired by James Joyce’s Ulysses in celebration of the centenary of Bloomsday. The exhibition will be launched as part of the ReJoyce Dublin 2004 festival programme.

The selection of artists is a mix of those who’s artistic oeuvre has long been concerned with the writings of James Joyce and others who have been invited to rise to the challenge of Ulysses. The images are wide ranging, as the novel sparks something unique in each artist, offering very different approaches to sometimes the same theme.

Collector’s Edition Portfolio

A limited number of 10 special collectors' edition portfolios of The Cracked Lookingglass are being collated to mark the centenary of this fictional date, 16th June 2004. This unique collection of fine-art prints will be presented in a specially designed museum quality Solander Box made to the highest specifications made by G. Ryder & Co., box makers to Her Majesty the Queen of England.
