William Crozier was born in 1930 in Yoker, Glasgow, of Irish and Huguenot ancestry.
He attended the Glasgow School of Art from 1949-1953 and completed further studies in Paris.
During the fifties he lived in Soho in London, moving to Spain in 1959 where he remained for two years.
He now divides his time between Winchester and West Cork.
