Born in Haifa in 1943, Sophie studied at Brighton College of Art, from 1966 - 67and also at
Ravensbourne College of Art and Design, London from 1962-66. She now lives in Belfast where she works
from the Belfast Print Workshop. Apainter as well as a printmaker, she focuses on the tenson between light and dark,
interpretating the reflection of her subject into an entirely new creation.
