Elizabeth Blackadder is one of Britain's most popular contemporary artists, having achieved public
and critical acclaim for her watercolours. In recent years she has extended her portfolio and has
made an exceptional contribution to the Graphic Arts. She has made several visits to Dublin where she
participated in the Visiting Artists Scheme at Graphic Studio Workshop. Of Scottish birth she was
educated at Edinburgh University and Edinburgh College of Art, Blackadder's paintings have been exhibited
across Europe the USA, Japan Australia, Canada, and Russia.
