Diarmuid Delargy was born in Belfast in 1958. He graduated in 1981 from the University of Ulster
and later completed his post-graduate studies at the Slade School of Art in London. Delargy, painter,
sculptor and print-maker, has exhibited extensively nationally and internationally. He was elected to Aosdana in 1999.
Delargy recently collaborated with the poet Paul Muldoon in a limited edition publication in the United States.
He has received many awards for his work including the Gold Medal at the European Large Format Print Exhibition, Dublin (1991).
